About the Awards
The Subsea UK Awards is the subsea industry’s most prestigious awards ceremony, held annually at the AECC in February, and highlights the incredible achievements and innovations of both individuals and companies alike.
At the awards in 2017 Neil Gordon, chief executive of Subsea UK, said: “Despite the continued downturn, these finalists have demonstrated that the UK subsea sector has what it takes to rise to the challenge – identifying ways to improve productivity and deliver much needed efficiencies.
“This ceremony allows us to come together once a year and really celebrate the expertise and pioneering work for which the subsea industry is renowned. These companies have all demonstrated how they are supporting the industry as it adapts to a new environment which can deliver lasting results in the years to come.”
“The Subsea UK Awards is a major event in the industry calendar. Being part of the Subsea UK Awards in 2016 was beneficial to EC-OG at a time when we were looking to raise our profile. Our nomination for the Innovation and Technology award really emphasised our successes and we were able to gain more client engagement in the industry as a result.
I would encourage any company to get involved as we saw tangible benefits from being involved in 2016. The application process is simple, take a look at the categories and find which are the right fit for you.”
– Richard Knox, Managing Director, EC-OG
“Subsea Supplies was delighted to be named a finalist at the 2016 Subsea UK Awards. The evening provided an opportunity to celebrate the industry, even during these challenging times. There was also the opportunity to network and find out about new products and services. From start to finish, the event was a fantastic experience for the Subsea Supplies team and our guests.”
– Pauline McCann, Sales Manager at Subsea Supplies
“Global Exports was a key award for us. We made a conscious decision some years ago to be recognised as a world leader in the supply of Umbilical and Cable Solutions. Winning this award is seen throughout the industry as a recognition in achieving excellence in this criteria. We are proud to display this award in our facilities throughout the world and our customers appreciate that they are working with a company who is proficient in supplying and meeting their global demands.”
– Carl Pilmer, Global Sales Director at JDR Cables
Each year Subsea UK selects two charities, one local and one national, to support via the generous donations of guests attending the dinner. The charities for 2018’s awards will be announced soon.
