Driven by innovation and addressing global manufacturing challenges, we’re turning ideas into reality, making businesses more competitive and accelerating current and future workforce skills. NMIS grew out of the University Strathclyde’s Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC) and includes the Lightweight Manufacturing Centre, Digital Factory, Manufacturing Skills Academy and Digital Process Manufacturing Centre.
