Shell UK & 3D at Depth
Wednesday 7th February 2018
Presentation starts at: 1500
The project team mindset for this subsea scope was one of doing things different under a challenging work environment, cost being a major factor for the project. The use of technology in the industry, added with a desire to work collectively between all parties, was a great achievement in uncertain times, as the metrology works were completed within an extremely tight schedule for 3D at Depth.
Alan has completed contract-based assignments with Shell UK since 2012, working on subsea reconfigurations at Gannet A platform. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of IMechE and SUT, with over 14 years experience working in the subsea projects. This included his graduate training with Technip, before moving to contract assignments with Bibby Offshore and Maersk Oil (Leadon decommissioning).
Prior to 3D at Depth, Manning spent 6 years as the President of CDL, INC , where he focused on global growth and operational excellence, and new product revenue streams. Post the sale of CDL to Teledyne Technologies, Manning worked as Head of Business Development before starting an investment group and becoming actively involved with one of these investments 3D at Depth.
Lee graduated with a BSc specialising in Hydrographic Survey. He worked extensively offshore as a Senior Surveyor/Party Chief/Reports Coordinator on survey and construction vessels. In 2010, Lee was appointed Principal Surveyor for Acergy. In 2012 he then became Subsea 7 Survey Manager in Norway before returning to the UK in 2015. His role now involves project management and survey support.
