Harnessing The Power Of Data To Reduce SCS Equipment Failure

Abstract:

This presentation focuses on the use of manual and automated detection techniques for advanced analytics, optimisation and failure prediction, including:
• Reduction of OPEX costs & producing maintenance synergies
• Benefits of data analysis for system condition monitoring & protection from unplanned downtime
• The possibility of decreasing the reliance on DSVs for fault finding & testing

Biography:

Stuart Windmill is a Lead Subsea Controls Engineer at Wood. As part of this role, he actively participates in the development and deployment of subsea control systems diagnostic techniques and software to reduce downtime costs for customers. Stuart holds a BSc in Mechatronics & Automation Engineering from University of Abertay Dundee and is a member of the IET.
